Hey, we are busy. We go to the grocery store and come home with tons of bags to unload. The only think we can think of is to getting the groceries put away as fast as possible.
But, when you have a system in place, this chore becomes something you do not mind at all. In fact, when I restock my food it makes me feel better to see full containers instead of empty ones. Plus, a good system also makes it easier for the kids to help because they know where things go as well.
To begin organizing a pantry, the first thing is to completely clear out the closet. Sweep up any crumbs and wipe it out. This is a good time to give it a fresh coat of paint. When organizing a pantry, most people don’t think about using colorful paint. Color makes an impact! Once this is completed, line your shelves with a easy clean liner.

Organizing Your Pantry Is A Form Of Decorating
The whole point of organizing a pantry is to make everything easily accessible. Just like the rest of your house, everything has a place and everything in it’s place. However, while organizing a pantry, consider using decorative and colorful storage solutions.
Place like items together, such as green beans. Line them up with labels facing the front like at the store. Do the same with any other product that you have multiples of, making sure all like items are together.
When organizing a pantry, use air tight food storage containers for products such as, sugar, flour, open packages, etc. This keeps unwanted pest out of your food and to keep everything fresh.
For small, loose items such as (oatmeal packets, hot chocolate, snacks etc) use smaller containers that stack together and label them accordingly .
